During a recent episode of his podcast, Rogan articulated his reluctance to travel to Canada under its current administration, stating, “I don’t go to Canada anymore… I’d rather go to Russia.” Despite his criticisms of the Canadian government, Rogan emphasized his affection for the Canadian populace. ​
Rogan’s decision aligns with his previous absences from UFC events held outside the United States. He notably missed UFC 297 in Toronto in 2024 and has generally refrained from international travel for pay-per-view events due to the extensive travel involved. ​
